[EXCLUSIVE] Something Brewing in Braselton with Planned Opening of New Miller's Ale House

A new Miller's Ale House restaurant is planned as part of a new shopping center in Braselton. The new restaurant will be 6,800 square feet and occupy a roughly two acre outparcel of the upcoming Publix-anchored Braselton Village shopping center at 2151 Highway 211 (Old Winder Highway) NW.

Atlanta-based Branch Properties is developing the roughly 71,000 square foot center that includes a 48,387 square foot Publix as well as small shop space and five outlots, of which Miller's will occupy #3, the largest.  The center is across the street from the popular Chateau Elan Winery & Restaurant.

Jack & Claire Miller opened the first Miller's Ale House in Jupiter, Florida in 1988.  The Orlando-based chain, which in 2013 was purchased by Atlanta-based private equity firm Roark Capital Group, now has 115 locations in 10 states, according to its website.  Georgia is currently home to seven locations, six of which have opened in the past six years, with the most recent opening occurring in Fayetteville in December 2023.

The Alpharetta restaurant opened in 2004 and was the chain's first in the state.  It was about fifteen years after their debut in the state that the company expanded in Georgia, first in McDonough (February 2019), then Kennesaw (April 2021), Dawsonville (October 2021), Snellville (July 2023), Sharpsburg (Nov 2023) and Fayetteville (December 2023).

In addition to Braselton, the company is also planning to open new restaurants at Covington Town Center (12792 Town Center Drive) in Covington as well as another in Macon at 4951 Riverside Drive in 2025.  Locations previously planned at Northlake in Tucker and in Peachtree Corners failed to materialize during the pandemic.

Have you ever been to Miller's Ale House? Are you a fan of Miller's Ale House?  What other shops or restaurants would you like to see open in Braselton Village?

I was wondering what happened to the Tucker/Northlake location although not surprised since we don't get many new places over here. I recently went to a Miller's Ale House in Orlando and was not impressed with the food at all. Bar was good.
