A new Culver's is coming to Cartersville! Planning documents suggest and local sources confirm that a new location of the restaurant best known for their ButterBurgers, frozen custard, and cheese curds is headed to 5000 GA 20, across the street from the Savoy Automobile Museum in Bartow County.
Home to not only the Savoy but also the Booth Western Art Museum and Tellus Science Museum, Cartersville has become "Museum City," and added to the explosion of commercial and residential development in the suddenly booming Bartow County community. Culver's is the latest in a string of new restaurant openings in Cartersville that also includes popular chicken chain Guthrie's with Smalls Sliders looking to open in the area too.
Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin-based Culver's entered the Atlanta market in 2016 with a restaurant in Dawsonville and has since opened a total of 22 locations across the state including those in Kennesaw and Woodstock. The Culver's website indicates that new restaurants are also coming soon to Rockmart (1939 Nathan Dean Parkway) and Warner Robins (780 Highway 96).
Atlanta-based Roark, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm with controlling stakes in more than two dozen franchises including Moe's Southwest Grill, Arby's, Subway, Miller's Ale House, and Nothing Bundt Cakes, acquired a minority interest in Culver's in October 2017.
Have you ever been to Culver's? Have you ever been to Cartersville or any of its museums? Where else would you like to see Culver's open?
