After sitting vacant for a year and a half, a former Buckhead restaurant space has found a new tenant. STK Steakhouse, the chic modern steakhouse, currently with one location in Atlanta, is coming to Buckhead for an encore.

A new whiskey & cocktail bar is looking to find success in a part of Atlanta that has seen significant turnover in recent months. Barrel Proof, which started in New Orleans in 2013 before expanding to Nashville in 2023, is looking to open at White Provisions in West Midtown later this year.

Fast-fashion retailer Forever 21 is actively closing its "flagship" store at Lenox Square in Buckhead. The more than 27,000 square foot store opened in the popular Buckhead mall in October 2011 and survived one bankruptcy, but it seems will not be so lucky this time around.
Italian luxury jewelry boutique BVLGARI is returning to Buckhead. Planning documents reviewed by ToNeTo Atlanta suggest that Bvlgari (also referred to as Bulgari) will open on the first floor of Phipps Plaza in a 2,231 square foot space.
A new kind of coffee shop is coming to metro Atlanta. Haraz Coffee House, specializing in Yemeni coffee, plans to open its first Atlanta area shop in Midtown. Haraz will be located at University House (930 Spring Street), a student housing building, where it replaces Twisted Kitchen which closed in the roughly 2,000 square foot space last year.
ToNeTo Atlanta has learned that "eatertainment" concept Jaguar Bolera is no longer opening at High Street in Dunwoody. The concept, from Punch Bowl Social founder Robert Thompson, was announced in November 2023 but has recently been removed from the High Street website and is gone from the corporate Jaguar Bolera website too.
A new Zaxby's is being planned in place of a former bank in Dunwoody. The chicken chain is looking to build a next generation restaurant with drive-thru in place of a former PNC Bank along Perimeter Center West in an outparcel of Ashford Lane.
