It seems metro Atlanta is getting another Lululemon store! Following the closure earlier this year of Banana Republic at Vinings Jubiliee, signage went up in recent days that confirms a new Lululemon store will open in its place!
The new Lululemon will be 5,500 square feet, according to a siteplan of the popular lifestyle center located at 4300 Paces Ferry Road. Since entering the Atlanta market with a showroom in Morningside in 2008, the Vancouver-based athleisure wear company has significantly expanded its local presence.
The company currently operates ten stores around metro Atlanta and a total of fifteen in the state. Three of the company's Atlanta area stores - Cumberland Mall near Smyrna, Mall of Georgia in Buford, and Augusta Mall in Augusta - are referred to on the Lululemon website as "Pop Up" stores.
Real estate sources suggest that the new Vinings Jubilee store, slated to open later this summer, will essentially replace the Cumberland pop-up store which first opened in 2021.
Lululemon's other Atlanta area stores include its flagship at The Shops Around Lenox near Lenox Square in Buckhead, Westside Provisions District in West Midtown, Ponce City Market, Avenue East Cobb, Avalon in Alpharetta, and Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody.
Lululemon is the latest in a string of recent additions to the legacy Vinings center that includes Bartaco, which opened in the project in September 2022 and Hobnob, which opened in August 2023.
Are you excited for the opening of Lululemon in Vinings Jubilee? What other shops or restaurants would you like to see open in Vinings Jubilee? What is your favorite lifestyle center in metro Atlanta?
