ToNeTo Atlanta has learned that Foxtail Coffee has signed on to open a new location in Dunwoody at Ashford Lane. The new coffee shop and cafe will be located in a soon to be created 1,800 square foot space demised from the roughly 5,000 square foot former Panera, which closed in the center in December 2021.
The new Dunwoody location will feature a large outdoor patio overlooking the roundabout and "Main Street" of the project, first opened in 2005, and known as Perimeter Place until it was rechristened Ashford Lane in 2020 by current owner CTO Realty Growth.
Dunwoody already has several coffee shops, including several Starbucks locations as well as Summit, Valor, and Crema, but none in Ashford Lane or the immediate area aside from Paris Baguette, which serves coffee but is primarily a bakery.
Fellow Florida-based coffee franchise Lucky Goat is also opening in Dunwoody but on Dunwoody Park off the Chamblee-Dunwoody exit of I-285.
A Starbucks that was proposed in the outparcel of the TJ Maxx-anchored center across the street from Ashford Lane was ultimately abandoned after the company re-evaluated some of its planned units.

The location seems very nice always liked getting lunch at the Panera. So, location is good it really depends on service and quality.
