Bad Daddy's Burger Bar has closed its restaurant in Roswell. Located in an outparcel of the Sprouts Farmers Market-anchored Roswell Marketplace, the casual burger joint reportedly closed in recent days without prior warning to patrons.
In Roswell, Bad Daddy's occupied a roughly 3,600 square foot outparcel space in a two-unit building it shared with fellow restaurant Another Broken Egg Cafe. The outparcel building was located near the corner of Mansell and Houze Roads.
There was reportedly no reason provided for the closure, and it seems to have been sudden, as the space is not yet being marketed for lease. The four other Atlanta area locations remain open.
Bad Daddy's has since 2015 been a wholly owned subsidiary of Golden, Colorado-based Good Times Restaurants Inc. (NASDAQ: GTIM). According to the Bad Daddy's website, there are currently 38 units across seven states, with North Carolina and Colorado the chain's largest markets with 14 and 10 units, respectively.
Are you surprised to learn that Bad Daddy's Burger Bar has closed its restaurant in Roswell? Who in metro Atlanta do you think offers the best burger? What would you most like to see open in place of the former Bad Daddy's in Roswell?

Not surprised, the Roswell had really bad service, mediocre food and a careless manager. The last time we visited was over 2 years ago. Went in and they were not busy, sat at the table for almost 30 minutes waiting to get a server. Three of them were joking and laughing together next to the kitchen. They could see us but apparently didn’t care. We and the table of 4 next to us got up and walked out. There are better places in Roswell if you want an overpriced burger.
Horrible name, I wouldn't eat there just because of it.
I wonder if the Smyrna one will last much longer.
Me either. I don’t eat anywhere that says “bar” in the name, whether they have alcohol or not.
After they started running TV commercials with a male bartender and showing he had black painted fingernails, I knew that was not the kind of place that I would feel comfortable in, nor would I want to do business with them.
Never went to that location but I use the Chamblee one all the time. Food has always been good, service up and down but recently they seem to have resolved those issues. $4 pints of their own beer (20oz) is the best deal in town. I did hear they are dropping their IPA and lager but keeping the amber which is annoying but I can live with the amber. Happy hour prices for food and drink are great. Sick of paying $9 for a 16oz pint elsewhere rather have a $4 20oz here. Margs are good too.
Place was dirty and service was horrible. Manager was nonexistent
Just Hooters for you…..
The ignorance in these remarks
I walked by the Chamblee Bad Daddys at noon a week or so ago and there was a closed sign on the door. Just for the day?
Sir, you are not who they are looking to attract
You sound fun at parties
Ooh ooh, now do Smyrna.
Anon @ 2:09 PM: You sound silly. And old.
Maybe you should be frequenting them more often. Weak burger for a weak man.
LOL. Winner of the most pathetic comment of the day
Dudes with painted fingernails.....and they feature him/her in their commercials.....LOL No wonder they're going under.
With a name like Bad Daddy's, it would be a hit in Midtown.
You sound immature. And childish.
We ate there a few months ago and you haven’t missed anything. Service and food still not worth writing home for. Good riddance
The ignorants who comment
"I choose where I eat based on the fingernail polish of people in their commercials" has got to be a new world record for weirdest dining criteria.
Holding out hope that it will catch on and the next Michelin Ratings will incorporate follicle care into their reviews.
See you there!
Going to miss it. We got it delivered by Uber Eats fairly frequently, but service at the location itself was always poor. I am going to miss their deviled eggs, chicken fingers and onion rings.
Hey Alex. Please post where we could see your comedy show. 2 stereotypical jokes in one article. You're on fire! Hey, I now have teed it up for you - make a "flaming" comment!!
Always busy when we ate there. Burgers were solid but service was hit or miss.
So I’m guessing you don’t eat at salad bars either…
