The first Atlanta area franchise of Beyond Juicery+ Eatery is expected to open in the coming weeks in Brookwood Hills, and now comes news that at least two more locations are in the pipeline for the metro.
The Brookwood Hills eatery is currently the only location listed on the company's main website but planning materials reviewed by ToNeTo Atlanta confirm plans for the additional two units.
In Brookhaven, Beyond Juicery is coming to a 1,200 square foot space in Brookhaven Station (4060 Peachtree Road, Suite E) most recently home to a franchise of American Haircuts and before that, a Great Clips franchise. Brookhaven Station is already home to a host of eateries including Fox Bros Bar-B-Q, Chick-fil-A, Mellow Mushroom, Wingstop, and Chopt, among other tenants.
In East Cobb, Beyond Juicery is coming to Providence Square (4101 Roswell Road #901), a 1,500 square foot space previously home to GameStop. Providence Square is anchored by Home Depot, Sprouts Farmers Market and a TJ Maxx / HomeGoods store and is also already home to eateries such as Subway, La Madeleine, Chicken Salad Chick, Chili's, Salata, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and Honey Baked Ham, among other tenants.
Beyond Juicery's East Cobb plans comes on the heels of the recent opening of fellow franchise, trendy "Toastique," in Pine Straw Place, the Trader Joe's anchored center less than a mile away.
As opposed to the Brookwood Hills location, both of the additional new Beyond Juicery units will be "first generation" restaurant spaces and will likely need extended time (and money) to convert their uses from service and retail to food.
Company founders Mijo Alanis and Pam Vivio opened the first Beyond Juicery location in Birmingham, Michigan in 2005 and began to franchise soon thereafter. Today, there are about 50 locations with about 40 of those in Michigan. Ohio is also home to nine locations, and there's one in Naples, Florida. The eatery's menu is surprisingly robust with 38 different fresh-made menu items plus build your own options, according to the company's website. Menu offerings include juices, smoothies, bowls, breakfast burritos, wraps, and more.
Have you been a Beyond Juicery? Do you think metro Atlanta can handle more trendy franchises? What part of metro Atlanta do you think has more than or less than its fair share of food options?
