[ALERT] Chick-fil-A-Backed "Daybright" Will Officially Open October 30

The new concept from Chick-fil-A's Reg Wagon Ventures - Daybright - soft opened October 29 and will celebrate its official public opening tomorrow, October 30!  The new eatery is located at 4326 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway in Hiram, about an hour from Chick-fil-A's headquarters in southwest Atlanta.

Daybright is located in a converted former Chick-fil-A made available when the chicken chain relocated to a new building nearby.  Chick-fil-A confirmed the existence of the concept in September and hinted at Daybright's offerings, but only today was the menu officially revealed.

"At Daybright, we believe a simple moment, a sip, a bite, a pause, can spark a great day. That belief inspired us to create a daily stop that makes busy lives feel a little lighter, fresher, and more fun.  Our handcrafted coffees, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and fresh food are all made with simple, thoughtful ingredients, never overcomplicated, always made to move with you."

There are a few carry-overs from Chick-fil-A, including coffee from Thrive Farmers and a fruit cup and yogurt parfait, but that's about it.

As was expected, the cafe leans heavily into coffee, including cold brew, lattes, classics, and protein coffees.  Other beverage options include iced tea and lemonade blends, iced tea classics, Fizzes (real fruit juices blended with sparkling water), smoothies, and bright (cold) pressed juices.

Food offerings include "Everyday Donuts" (oven-baked with at least 6 grams of protein in each donut), "Pocketfulls" (stuffed English muffins that are toasted and filled with avocado and egg or chicken salad), and "Hot Takes" including a sunrise sandwich, daily press burrito, and bright bites (egg bites) available in both meat and vegetarian options.

Most drink options range from about $3 to about $6 and top out at $9.95 for a 24 ounce smoothie.

The food options range from about $5 to $6, with all donuts priced at $2.50.

There is also a kids' menu comprised primarily of smaller versions of main menu items.

The Daybright website indicates there is also a rewards program that is visit-based rather than dollar-based, as Chick-fil-A is.    Earn one stamp per visit/purchase.  "10 stamps = Choose any beverage on our menu (smoothies not included) 15 stamps = Choose any smoothie or food item on our menu."

Daybright is open from 6 am until 9 pm Monday through Saturday, and like Chick-fil-A, closed on Sunday.

Red Wagon Ventures previously launched "modern family hub" Kefi in Buckhead in a onetime Circuit City in August 2019.  The company later announced expansion plans including locations in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas.  Ultimately, the business never took off, the Buckhead location closed in May 2021, and expansion was called off.

Chick-fil-A nor Red Wagon Ventures have commented on any possible expansion plans beyond Hiram or for that matter, indicated why Hiram was chosen to launch the brand.  If the brand is expanded, ToNeTo Atlanta pointed out in a recent Instagram reel that there are several other former Chick-fil-A restaurants that could be converted by the brand including one along Cobb Parkway near The Big Chicken in Marietta.
