Battle & Brew announced December 22 that it has permanently closed its location at The Battery Atlanta. The roughly 11,000 square foot game bar and restaurant opened at the mixed-use project in January 2024, nearly two years after it was first announced.
The original Battle & Brew opened at 279 Powers Ferry Road in Marietta in 2005 before moving and expanding to a 10,000 square foot space at 5920 Roswell Road (Parkside Shops) in Sandy Springs in early 2014.
The Battery reportedly has a replacement tenant in the works for the former Battle & Brew space and will be sharing more details of the new concept in the new year.
Also at The Battery, Superica remains closed for undisclosed renovations while a new location of J. Alexander's is under construction and is expected to open next spring.
Elsewhere at The Battery, Four Stones Group, a real estate investment and development firm backed by Chick-fil-A's Andrew Cathy, relocated its headquarters from midtown to the Cobb County development earlier this month. The new office, located next to Piedmont Orthopedics | OrthoAtlanta at 455 Legends Place, joins a growing list of businesses that have opened at The Battery including Papa Johns, TK Elevator, Gas South, Shake Shack, and Southwire.
Juneau Construction Company is also expanding its headquarters presence at Pennant Park at The Battery Atlanta, doubling its office space from 20,000 to 40,000 square feet across two full floors within the six-building office complex adjacent to The Battery Atlanta.
