A new restaurant is coming soon to Dunwoody. Patrones Authentic Mexican Cuisine is slated to open in Perimeter Village (4705 C Ashford Dunwoody Road) in a roughly 5,000 square foot space most recently - for a brief time - occupied by Kiskeya Pizza, and before that, Nancy's Pizzeria.
Before serving as a restaurant, the space was for several years home to Alfred Angelo Bridal. Locals will recall that the corner space Patrones will occupy was in the 90s and early 2000s home to Just For Feet, a once hugely popular shoe retailer
The new full-service restaurant is opening in an outparcel stretch of the center already home to several eateries including Jason's Deli, Poke Bar and Wok Provisions, a full-service Chinese restaurant.
The Dunwoody area is already home to several Tex-Mex and Mexican eateries like Red Pepper Taqueria, Chuy's, Agave Bandido, CT Cantina & Taqueria, and El Azteca, but Patrones is looking to differentiate itself by offering an authentic experience - with fresh made tortillas - while in an approachable and less "trendy" atmosphere.
ToNeTo Atlanta exclusively reported in November that Perimeter Village is set to get a new anchor with a new large format Kroger slated to replace about 64% of the former Walmart. The new Kroger will span roughly 117,000 square feet. We have since confirmed that the new store is expected to include a fuel center, too.
Are you excited about the opening of Patrones in Perimeter Village? What would you like to see open in the remaining portion of the former Walmart? What other businesses would you like to see open in Perimeter Village?
