Pinky Promise Champagne Bar confirmed Tuesday that it has closed for good. The woman-created, woman-owned, and woman-focused champagne bar opened in July 2024 as part of Phase 2 of The Interlock at 1042 Northside Drive in West Midtown.
The champagne bar occupied suite P125, a 1,515-square-foot space, including a 405-square-foot patio.
Created and co-owned by serial entrepreneur Anna Grace Hoang, Pinky Promise was billed as "Atlanta's Ladies' Night Oasis." Pinky Promise included a robust bar menu as well as a curated food menu, with several French-inspired dishes, a cheeseboard, soups, and flatbreads. The business was also pet friendly.
“Our mission is to provide a space built by women, for women, where every detail is designed to celebrate the female experience. From our exquisite cocktails to our engaging performances, everything at Pinky Promise is crafted to uplift and empower women. Our vision is to be the go-to destination in Atlanta for women to gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories.”
Tipsters began to message ToNeTo Atlanta Tuesday afternoon about the closure, indicating that the business's last day of operations was February 28.
Hoang took to social media Tuesday afternoon confirming the closure:
"All good things must come to an end. 🕊️ It is with bittersweet hearts that we announce the closure of Pinky Promise Champagne Bar. What started as a dream built by women, for women, became something truly magical—and that’s because of YOU. To every woman who walked through our doors, raised a glass, and showed up for themselves and each other—thank you. You didn’t just support a business; you built a sisterhood. You empowered us, and we hope we empowered you right back. 💃🏾 🎶 Here’s to the conversations, the celebrations, and the courage it takes to dream big. 🥂 With love, gratitude, and pinky promises kept, The Pinky Promise Team"
Ultimately, Pinky Promise seems to have been a niche, expensive option that not enough ladies sought out or discovered.
Although not a sure thing, the bar's 111 Google reviews and overall 4.1 star rating could have been seen as a bellwether of the bar's success.
