On Monday June 22, Pour Taproom will close for good after about five and a half years in business in Midtown. The self-serve beer and wine bar features more than 80 taps and an American food menu too. The Midtown location debuted in early 2021 in a space at 1180 Peachtree originally home to TAP Gastropub.
According to the Pour website, the company, which started in Asheville in 2014, is today headquartered in Atlanta, with 1180 Peachtree, Suite A, the bar's address, also listed as the headquarters' address.
There was previously another Pour in West Midtown at Phase One of The Interlock, but after opening in mid 2022, it was listed for sale in late 2024 and was closed by early 2025.
A third location remains open along the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail at SPX Alley, aka The Krog District (661 Auburn Avenue), where Pizza Dynamo was added to its offerings last year.
Are you surprised to see Pour close at 1180 Peachtree in Midtown? What would you like to see open in place of Pour in Midtown? What is your favorite Midtown area restaurant?
