[EXCLUSIVE] Jeff's Bagel Run to Triple its Presence in Metro Atlanta

New York-style bagel shop Jeff's Bagel Run is looking to grow its metro Atlanta presence with at least two more franchises coming soon.  The Orlando-based bagel franchise entered the greater metro Atlanta market in late 2024 with a franchise in Acworth and now has locations coming soon to Alpharetta and Cumming too.

In Alpharetta/Milton, Jeff's Bagel Run is opening in a 1,200 square foot space in the Kroger-anchored Crabapple Shopping Center (12460 Crabapple Road, Suite 502) where the bagel shop will replace a failed Cinnaholic franchise which opened July 5, 2024 and closed February 26, 2025.  The Alpharetta location is less than a mile from the last remaining location of former multi-unit Atlanta bagel franchise 101 Bagel Cafe.

Jeff's Bagel Run in Cumming will open in Steeplechase Plaza (5610 Bethelview Road, Suite 700), also a 1,200 square foot space previously home to Bethelview Pharmacy.  Steeplechase Plaza is an unanchored center beside the Kroger Marketplace-anchored Bethelview Plaza shopping center.

Much like the "not famous but known" line from fellow bagel franchise PopUp Bagels, Jeff's tagline is "always boiled, never toasted."  That said, despite both offering "New York-style" bagels, the two businesses are quite different.  Whereas at PopUp, one must order a minimum of three bagels and schmear and there are just five bagel flavors to choose from, Jeff's has more than a dozen bagel options, allows one to buy as little as one bagel, and also offers a wide variety of coffee, tea, and energy drink-based beverages as well as dessert options, too.

Founded in November 2019 by Jeff and Danielle Perera, Jeff's features boiled then baked bagels and has expanded from a home-based side hustle into a full-fledged franchise.  The first brick and mortar location opened in the Orlando suburb of Ocoee in July 2021.  A second central Florida location debuted in August 2022 followed by a third in February 2024.

Today, there are thirty-six Jeff's Bagel Run locations open across ten states, with more than a dozen new stores coming to new and existing markets, according to the company's website.
