The Brookhaven location of cafe and bakery Sucré has closed after little more than a year in business.  Located at 3930 Peachtree Road, Sucré was situated in an endcap space within the street level retail of the Alta Porter apartment complex also home to Egg Harbor Cafe and C&S Oyster Bar. 

[ALERT] East Cobb Grapples With Rash of Restaurant Closures

Chicago's Steak and Seafood is slated to close May 31 after about 36 years in business.  Currently located in the Publix at Shallowford shopping center - 4401 Shallowford Road - the upscale restaurant first opened in July 1991 and at one point had two locations.  The restaurant occupies a 5,311 square foot endcap space in the center at the corner of Shallowford and Johnson Ferry Roads near where Roswell meets East Cobb. 

[ALERT] Cupcakin' Bake Shop Calls it Quits in Buckhead

The Buckhead location of Cupcakin' Bake Shop has closed after about seventeen months in business.  The cupcake shop, located at 2221 Peachtree Road, occupied a 1,350 square foot space in The Shops of Buckhead, a two-level strip center in south Buckhead.  

[EXCLUSIVE] Hooters Closing Pair of Georgia Locations Amidst Family Friendly Rebrand

So-called "breastaurant" chain Hooters will close two more Georgia restaurants little more seven months after it was acquired out of bankruptcy by a group of its original founders.  The two upcoming closures will take place at the close of normal business Sunday, May 24.   

[ALERT] Longstanding Duluth Restaurant to Shutter After 36 Years in Business

The Duluth location of The Melting Pot is due to close Sunday, May 31 after more than 36 years in business.  The fondue restaurant is located at 3610 Satellite Boulevard in Mall Corners shopping center, little more than a stone's throw from the dead mall that is Gwinnett Place.
