Canton, Massachusetts-based Dunkin' Donuts is planning a new location in Tucker. The new Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins shop would be located at 4092 Lawrenceville Highway, in place of a shuttered restaurant, most recently Zazaz, a hookah lounge.
The parcel is adjacent to an existing Burger King, and is about a block from Main Street Tucker.
The nearest Dunkin' Donuts is about three miles away on LaVista Road at Montreal Road.
Dunkin' has been busy in metro Atlanta in recent months having added multiple new intown locations including those on Piedmont Avenue, Howell Mill Road and Ponce de Leon Avenue. Dunkin' has also closed some locations, most recently, a popular shop at Powers Ferry Square on Roswell Road in North Buckhead.
Less than two miles from the new Dunkin' Donuts, Charlotte, North Carolina-based Bojangles' will open a new restaurant adjacent to a new RaceTrac at Lawrenceville Highway and Northlake Parkway. According to a company rep, this opening should occur sometime in March.
If all goes well in the permitting and zoning phase for Dunkin' Donuts, I'd estimate they could be open as soon as late April or early May.

That'll put them right next to Cofer Brothers. Perfect location for a DD.
What happened? Rumor has it that the deal has fallen through
Drove past building on Monday, it looks ready to go. Unless the kitchen is not completed.
