A new restaurant called Chastain Tavern plans to open "soon" in the former Twisted Taco in North Buckhead/Sandy Springs. The restaurant occupies a reportedly historic structure at 4629 Wieuca Road, just inside Sandy Springs.
Twisted Taco, the Atlanta-based chain, has experienced some troubles as of late and Buckhead is one of a handful of locations to have closed. Twisted Taco on Wieuca closed this past March with the promise of a "new concept coming soon." A new concept from those owners never happened and instead the restaurant was sold to new owners for a new concept.
Chastain Tavern does have an active facebook account as well as a website, but seems to be holding back on publishing their menu. According to their facebook page, the menu was "finalized" as of July 2nd and includes "tons of local and regional craft beers."

Small plates seem to be on the menu http://chastaintavern.co/menu.html
I get why they do it, but come on, can we please move away from Facebook only pages and get real websites? I'm sure you could hire some kid in junior high real cheap to put together a website for you.
@Anon RE: small plates,
Good catch! That must have just been added and is likely the first in a series of menu reveals.
Thanks for the comment and your readership.

@Anon RE: Website,
They do have a website. ChastainTavern.co. This is in addition to their facebook page.
Sorry for any confusion.

I'm amazed at all these places that open with very little parking.
No affiliation with the Corner Tavern group? Seems quite similar.
Wow, good call to the commenter above. I knew that logo looked familiar for some reason but just couldn't place it. It's not a direct rip from Corner Tavern, but it seems like someone in the same market shouldn't be mimicking that closely unless they're owned by the same group.
La Fonda/Fellinis/Greater Good should've just bought the property & used that space for parking. The Fresh Market shopping center across the street employs security guards to prevent La Fonda/Fellinis customers from parking over there. Kind of ridiculous considering there are plenty of spaces in that lot.
