BP Connects with Domino's in Tucker

Franchise pizza joint being added to Northlake gas station.

BP's Northlake location on LaVista Road is adding a Domino's Pizza to its store.  A store representative tells me the Domino's should open by mid August. Metro Atlanta BP locations lost their food offerings in the fall of 2012 when AMPM left the market.  AMPM had previously replaced BP Connect and its Wild Bean Cafe.

Assorted BPs have found local operators to furnish their food offerings while others let the area sit vacant.  In Buckhead, BP replaced their AMPM with a Subway, while the BP in Brookhaven at Johnson Ferry and Peachtree Boulevard replaced their AMPM with Taqueria Taquito Express.  BP's midtown location added a Dunkin' Donuts with Drive-Thru.

The BP on Chamblee Dunwoody remains without a foodservice partner.

Having twice attended the NACS Show (National Association of Convenience Stores), food service is fast becoming a bigger and bigger draw for C-store operators. Schlotzskys Deli, Dunkin' Donuts and even Chobani are looking to extend their brands via convenience store partnerships.

Chobani is the most interesting case as they are not thought of as a food service operator and operate only a single food service outlet in New York's SoHo neighborhood.  Chobani partners with C-store operators to offer made-to-order yogurt parfaits and other yogurt options.

What are your thoughts on the widening variety of food options in convenience stores?  What eatery would you like to see partner with your local C-store?  What is your favorite C-store operator?

Please share your thoughts below.

Will this Dominoe's deliver? or is it takeout only?

Hasn't been a Dominoes around Northlake since they left the festival at least 6 or 8 years ago.

I just rode past this the other day and thought "hmmm...that's an oddly-placed Domino's..."

Wonder if they'll have slices and/or pre-made sandwiches available.

The BP in Duluth on Pleasant Hill and 285 is also going through a pretty extensive remodel with something looking like its going onto the side of the building. There are no signs up but I remember driving by last week thinking "I wonder if it's going to be Dunkin"

Domino’s is the equivalent of priced-up gas station pizza
