A New Asian Eatery is Coming to Tucker

Asian eatery coming to Northlake

A new eatery called Kobe Steak House Hibachi Sushi & Thai is coming soon to Briarcliff Village. The new roughly 6,200 square foot restaurant is opening in the former Stevi B's Pizza space.  Although named similarly, the new Kobe restaurant is reportedly not affiliated in any way with the Kobe Steaks restaurant that closed in May at the Prado in Sandy Springs.

Hong Xing Zhong is listed as the owner of the new Kobe restaurant, and according to Leslie Mintz with Regency Centers, has many years of experience owning and operating similar establishments.

An opening has not been announced but based on progress observed on location, I'd expect for Kobe to open within 30 days.

This is the most exciting dining concept in the area since Lee's buffet remodeled and re-opened on N'lake parkway.

We may try it. I wonder if it'll be too pricey and upscale for the area.

Hope it works out. We need it. Will definitely try it.

ate here on Saturday night. Surprisingly good! The remodel looks incredible. Wife and I split sushi deluxe ($28). Pricey for N'lake--but about the same as similar places, and this isn't Red Lobster.

This is easily the best/most exciting restaurant to hit the area since Marlow's.

I ate here tonight and will not be going back! It's super expensive and the food is mediocre and the portions are very small! Definitely not comparable to other hibachi grill restaurants. The manager came around to ask everyone how their food was and if we would come back i ttold her the portions was very small compared to like restaurants all she said was "okay "! Don't ask a customer for their opinion ifyou don't want to know the truth! Go to nakato on Cheshire Bridge friendlier service, better food, much bigger portions!
