[OPENING ALERT] Sarah Donuts Plans March Debut in Roswell

Sarah Donuts will soon open their seventh locationon Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell. The new shop, which ToNeTo Atlanta first reported on August 2018, will open between Pizza Hut and Jersey Mike's Subs in Roswell Village shopping center.  The new Sarah Donuts will be 805 square feet and is the latest in a string of new tenants that have joined the center.
Palm Beach, Florida-based Sterling Organization, through the firm's institutional fund Sterling Value Add Partners II LP,  purchased the largely vacant, roughly 14 acre center for $10.6 million in October 2014.   In 2018, the new owner began a large-scale renovation that has attracted several new tenants.

In addition to Sarah Donuts, ROSS Dress For Less, Phenix Salon Suites, Crunch Fitness, Famous Footwear, Goldfish Swim School and Starbucks have opened new locations in the center.   Marshalls relocated their store on Holcomb Bridge Road in East Village shopping center to Roswell Village.  Marshalls and ROSS share a reconfigured space previously home to a Publix that has been vacant since the grocer closed in 2005.  ToNeTo Atlanta reported February 17 that I Luv Pho will soon open a new location in the center, too.

The Roswell location, expected to celebrate its grand opening March 28,  joins existing Sarah Donut shops in Suwanee (2), Duluth, Norcross, Cumming and in North Decatur Plaza near Decatur.  In celebration of the grand opening, customers at the Roswell location between 11 am and 2 pm on opening day can purchase a dozen classic doughnuts for only $5.  For Roswell residents eager to get their hands on Sarah Donuts, a representative tells ToNeTo Atlanta that they plan to "soft open" by mid-March.

Korean natives Sara Park and husband Jong Park were involved in their family's doughnut shop business in Texas for more than 20 years, opening their first Atlanta area shop—called Sara Donuts—in 2004 on Medlock Bridge Road in Duluth.  The original location still carries the "Sara Donuts" moniker, while subsequent locations are "Sarah Donuts."

What makes Sarah Donuts unique is that they are largely made by hand, fresh, at each location.  The resulting product is a slightly crisp outside and extra-fluffy inside.

Have you tried Sarah Donuts?  Where do you think the best doughnuts in Atlanta are?  Where would you like to see Sarah Donuts open next?
