[UPDATE] Ten Restaurants Getting Creative During COVID-19

Friday we shared news that select Waffle House restaurants were offering their products "grocery style," and the response was so overwhelming that we decided to highlight a few other DIY restaurant options.  The restaurants below are offering versions of their typical menu items (and even some special items) packaged to be prepared and enjoyed at home.

Farm Burger - "Backyard Cookout Kit" (serves 6)

$45 DIY pack serves six and includes sesame buns, uncooked 100% grass-fed beef balls (5.4oz each), aged white cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, sauce, Kale Slaw side, and six King of Pops popsicles. (King of Pops is this year celebrating a decade in business and needs your support to keep going)

*Assorted beer and wine by the can, pack and bottle also available*

Kits available at Farm Burger locations in Buckhead, Decatur, Dunwoody & Grant Park. (Midtown & Peachtree Corners are closed UFN.)

Grub Burger Bar -"Quarantine Kits"

BBQ Burger Grill Kit - 4 homemade buns, 4 burger patties, with Grub seasoning and all the fixings for $25.99.  Add Fries &/or Mac & Cheese, at an additional cost.

The restaurant is also offering several other Family Meals as seen below each priced at $29.99.

Kits are available at Grub locations in Druid Hills (Brighten Park), Akers Mill, Sandy Springs & Forsyth.


Grindhouse Killer Burgers  - Pandemic Provisions & Pandemic Libations

“Grind at Home” burger pack (serves 8) - $35

Cook-at-home “Grindhouse Style” burger kit includes: 8 uncooked patties (beef, turkey or Impossible +$25), 8 pack of Martin's Potato Rolls, 8 slices of American cheese, an 8 oz. cup of grilled onions, a pint of Grindhouse Sauce & plenty of shredded lettuce & pickles.

Bell Street Burritos - "Market Family Meal Kits"

The restaurant is offering its normal menu plus several off-menu items not typically found at the burrito eatery.  A few of the options are mentioned below but a full list can be found here.

Meaty Bolognese with Fettuccine Pasta Family Meal
"The sauce is fully cooked and chilled, ready to heat & serve at home. Your meal includes a Meaty Bolognese sauce, uncooked pasta, brown & serve yeast rolls, butter pats, and salad."
Regular (Feeds 3-5) $35 / Larger (Feeds 6-8) $64

Marinara with Fettuccine Pasta Family Meal
The sauce is fully cooked and chilled, ready to heat & serve at home. Your meal includes Marinara sauce, uncooked pasta, brown & serve French Rolls, butter pats, and salad.
Regular (Feeds 3-5) $35 / Larger (Feeds 6-8) $64

The restaurant also has a "market" in which it's selling anything from gloves, toilet paper and bleach to oranges, lemons, and broccoli, among other offerings.

Available at Bell Street locations on Peachtree Street, Krog Street and Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker


Arnette's Chop Shop - "Prime Beef Steak Shop"

Filet, ribeye and other cuts, as well as house-made Worcestershire sauce are available as well as individual and family meals.

Arnettte's is located in Brookhaven


Big Sky & Buena Vida Tapas & Sol - "Chef -Prepared Meals"

Both restaurants are closed for normal business but are offering a variety of breakfast, lunch & dinner and options for pick-up twice a week.  Some options include:

Pork Belly Breakfast Sandwich - Slow braised pork belly, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, brioche bun ($6.45)

Beyondigas & Cauliflower Couscous (vegan) -  vegan meatballs, cauliflower couscous, vegan cheese, green onion ($12.45)

Mushroom Risotto (vegetarian) -  Creamy mushroom risotto, grilled blistered padrónes, gremolata ($11.95)

Grilled Chicken Mojo Bowl -  Grilled chicken, local vegetables, black beans, rice and roasted tomato sauce ($10.95)

Both restaurants are also offering an incredibly wide variety of beer, seltzer, cider, wine and cocktails to go!

Food can be picked up at either Big Sky Buckhead (Buckhead Village) or Buena Vida Tapas & Sol (near Ponce City Market), but please make your location selection when ordering.  Pick-up times are every Saturday and Wednesday from 3pm-5pm. Please order by Friday at 5pm for Saturday pickup or Tuesday at 5pm for Wednesday pickup. Order here


Gusto! - Family Meal for 5

Available in all flavorful gusto! bowl combinations and each meal comes with 5 bags of Sweet Potato Chips.

Gusto is also offering 2 for $15 pints of prepped proteins:  Grilled chicken and spicy chicken options available.

Family meals, protein pints and normal Gusto! menu available for ordering online, on all delivery apps, direct delivery, and curbside pickup at all five Gusto! locations (Ponce, Westside, Decatur, Chamblee & Buckhead).  *Chastain Park is still expected to open later this month*


Iberian Pig - Several family meal options
