A new kind of Mediterranean restaurant is coming soon to Roswell. Mashawi Mediterranean, a restaurant we've heard rumors of for more than two months, is opening in early November! The restaurant is located at 850 Mansell Road in the freestanding building most recently home to Asian restaurant 12 Lunar.
Wawa has announced it will open its first Georgia location next month! The new Wawa is opening in Bainbridge, a city in Decatur County in southwest Georgia. The 6,119 square foot Wawa will be located at 1401 Tallahassee Highway. The new Wawa sits on more than three acres and will include 16 fueling stations.
Arby's has closed its restaurant at 4415 Roswell Road in Chastain Park. The franchise restaurant occupied a roughly 3,000 square foot freestanding building at the corner of Roswell and Wieuca Roads in an outparcel of The Fresh Market-anchored Roswell-Wieuca Shopping Center.

Cookie chain Tiff's Treats has closed its Buckhead outpost. The cookie shop, located in the street level of Hanover Buckhead Village apartment highrise, opened in June 2018 and marked the Austin-based chain's 40th location overall.
Yumbii Taco Shop has closed at Brookwood Village in South Buckhead. Carson Young launched the Asian-Mexican-Southern eatery as a food truck in 2010 before going brick & mortar with the Brookwood Hills restaurant in 2017.
A new Whataburger restaurant is being proposed in Cobb County as the chain gets closer to its highly anticipated intown Atlanta debut. The new Whataburger is being proposed on the south side of Atlanta Road, east of West Village Way, and northwest of Pine Street, just off I-285.
Burtons Grill & Bar, a "polished casual" restaurant, will mark its official Atlanta debut next month in Buckhead. The new restaurant is opening at 3330 Piedmont Road at Buckhead Landing (AKA the old "Disco Kroger" shopping center) in a 5,740 square foot endcap space once home to Chase Bank and before that, WaMu (Washington Mutual).

Online retailer Wayfair is bringing a special new physical store experience to Georgia. Updated leasing materials confirm that the new store is coming to Augusta Exchange (1144 Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway) in Augusta. Wayfair Outlet will occupy a 26,735 square foot junior anchor space previously home to buybuyBABY.
A growing Mexican restaurant is looking to open its fourth location in in metro Atlanta. Zama Mexican Cuisine & Margarita Bar is coming soon to 2630 Holcomb Bridge Road in East Roswell where it replaces Taco Mac, which closed last January. The new Zama will measure 7,000 square feet, making it the largest location.
