Nothing Bundt Cakes is coming to Buckhead! A local operator of the he popular bundt cake franchise has secured space in the Publix-anchored Peachtree Battle shopping center at 2339 Peachtree Road for her newest shop.
Multi-unit franchisee Gloriaellis (Gloria) Mattei is behind the new location with plans to open this upcoming spring. Mattei opened her first shop along Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, then just the second location in the state, in late 2011. She added a second shop along Windward Parkway in Alpharetta in late 2013.
Mattei, a native of Puerto Rico, has received several industry awards over the years including the Circle of Honor Award from Nothing Bundt Cakes National in 2023 and the International Franchise Association's Franchisee of the Year, also in 2023.
Nothing Bundt Cakes features classic Bundt cakes, Bundlets, personal bundt cakes and even smaller Bundtinis, sold only by the dozen. The shops also feature gluten-free options in select flavors.
Nothing Bundt Cakes was started by Debbie Shwetz and Dena Tripp in Las Vegas in 1997 and is today based in Addison, Texas. Then 390 unit Nothing Bundt Cakes was acquired by Atlanta-based Roark Capital Group in May 2021. The franchise has continued to grow and this past June the company opened its 600th store. The brand introduced a new, simpler logo this past August.
Baskin-Robbins, another Roark owned brand, has been a longtime tenant in Peachtree Battle and closed several weeks ago to undergo a top to bottom renovation.

I love Nothing Bundt Cakes. Been going to the Tucker location since they opened. We usually get the Bundtinis. I think it will do well in Peachtree Battle.
