At a time when many restaurants seem to be fighting for survival and others seems to be rethinking expansion, Rreal Tacos, which specializes in "authentic Mexican street food," is at it again, with plans to open a new location in Woodstock early next year.

Locally owned Rreal Tacos has been on a growth spurt with the Woodstock unit the latest in a string of new and upcoming openings. A new BeltLine location at the Ford Factory Lofts across from Ponce City Market will debut September 15 in place of Dos Burros.
In Duluth, the owners of Rreal Tacos acquired Nacho Daddy at Parsons Alley with plans to open in early December. Located at 3095 Main St., Suite #500A, the restaurant is about 3,900 square feet plus a 1,500 square foot rooftop patio.
Adrian Villarreal opened the first Rreal Tacos at the Skyhouse South apartments in Midtown in December 2015. Villarreal eventually sold what was then just one restaurant to business partners Damian Otero and Miguel Hernandez in 2021, at which time Villarreal became Culinary Director at Rye Restaurant Group. With the budding chain having grown to seven units, Villarreal rejoined Rreal Tacos as its Culinary Director this past June.
Current Atlanta Rreal Tacos locations include: Midtown at 100 6th St. NE; West Midtown at 1000 Northside Dr. NW; Chamblee at 5070 Peachtree (Industrial) Blvd.; Sandy Springs at 227 Sandy Springs Place, NE; Cumming at The Collection at Forsyth at 410 Peachtree Pkwy., Sugar Hill at 5000 W. Broad Street, Buckhead at 3365 Piedmont Road in Tower Place, Decatur at 312 Church Street, and 30 S. Clayton Street in Lawrenceville.
After Woodstock opens, there will be twelve Rreal Tacos across the greater metro Atlanta area, with sources close to the restaurant suggesting that growth in 2026 and beyond will likely come primarily from expansion into cities such as Charlotte, Nashville, Miami, and Greenville.
Have you been to Rreal Tacos? Are you pleased to see the locally owned business expanding so much? Where else would you like to see Rreal Tacos open?

Easy to grow a gross restaurant company when you’re flush with drug money like they are.
Gross food. Paid reviews by fake reviewers and owners with shady money. It will come crashing down eventually.
