Waldenbooks in CNN Center closed a few days ago, and now the owners of "It's About Atlanta" are opening their own bookstore. Set to open in about a month, the new store would seem to be just the same as Waldenbooks, minus the corporate name and feel. At a time when competition for book sales is everywhere and Amazon's Kindle and the upcoming Apple iPad are making books nearly obsolete, I question opening a conventional book store now. I wish the new owners luck, but the only book I've looked at lately is Facebook. ToNeTo AtlantaThursday, February 11, 2010
Waldenbooks Checks Out, Corner Books Checks In At CNN
