Gary Lin is at it again! Fresh off the opening of Urban Hai in Midtown, Lin has inked a deal to bring WOK Provisions to Dunwoody. The new restaurant will open in the Walmart-anchored Perimeter Village shopping center (4709 Ashford Dunwoody Road) in a roughly 1,800 square foot space next to Poke Bar, which was most recently home to Pita Mediterranean Street Food.
WOK Provisions in Duluth |
Lin is no stranger to the Dunwoody area having previously operated R. Rice, an Asian restaurant in Perimeter Town Center, a plaza along Peachtree Dunwoody Road where El Azteca and Atlanta Bread recently opened. (For the record, the center is not in the City of Dunwoody, but adjacent to it within Sandy Springs.)
In addition to the aforementioned Urban Hai and Wok Provisions restaurants, Lin is a partner in Wei Authentic Chinese in Buford and Marietta, Hai Chinese in Suburban Plaza near Decatur and on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta, Urban Wu in Piedmont Peachtree Crossing in Buckhead and Hao Chinese in East Point.
Pending permitting and renovations, Lin hopes to have WOK Provisions open in March 2023.
Are you pleased to hear that Gary Lin is coming back to the Dunwoody area? Have you tried any of Lin's other Atlanta area restaurants? What type of restaurant would you most like to see open in Dunwoody?

I wonder if the pitA Mediterranean St., Food in decatur also closed? we go to blaze Pizza next door and I always wondered how with no customers the pita store can pay their rent? We popped in there once and left quickly due to the offputting odor. on a sidenote it looks like Mr. Lynn is playing blackjack or roulette with store fronts to see which ones will outlast the others, nothing ventured nothing gained.
