Trackside Grill in downtown Kennesaw (20 yrs) is now Bernardo's Modern-Mex. Same ownership.
Rusty Nail Roswell Rd closing. Also the Tara closing.
Yes saw trackside grill this weekend w the switch. Very strange switch to modern Mexican because you know…kennesaw needed another Mexican restaurant with a high dollar menu
Disco Kroger and Beverly Bremer closings were sort of sad in a nostalgic sort of way. I remember the Kroger shopping center when it was sort of a Hot Spot with Limelight, some other forgotten bars and later a pretty cool Tower Records. Beverly Bremer's was just the place to buy silver.
Again, I doubt I'll miss either one in reality, but it is just a little sad.
I was most disappointed to hear of Chris’ Pizza closing but also so sad about Tara Theater and Greenwood Ice Cream. It is so sad when companies that have been in business for 40, 50 and 70 years close.
I'm looking forward to not one, not two, but THREE locations of The Salty Donut opening here in Atlanta. I discovered them during a trip to Orlando last year and was so glad when they finally announced they're expanding to here.
