Like many others, we have reduced our visits to Lenox Square. That said, we noted some changes on a recent visit that seem to have gone unreported. We also noted some openings that have taken place following our reports of their imminent arrivals.

Luxury fashion brand Fendi appears to have been the first to come to its senses, closing its boutique in Lenox Square, given that it still has one across the street in Phipps Plaza. Fendi was one of at least five luxury brands with a standalone presence in both malls. Among the labels that still have boutiques in both malls are Balenciaga, Gucci, Tiffany & Tory Burch.

| Former Ferrari |
Sports car company Ferrari, which opened their "lifestyle and fashion" boutique in the mall's "Luxury Wing" in August 2022, has closed. The 3,200 square foot store was located beside Neiman Marcus in a space previously occupied by Tesla.
Cousins Maine Lobster, which opened in the mall in June 2018, quietly closed its small eatery as of this past June. The quick-serve restaurant was located in the former Delta Air Lines ticket office across from what is today Sweetgreen. The Lenox Square closure follows the closure of Atlanta's other outpost at the Marietta Square Market. The Buckhead space is now occupied by a local popcorn vendor.

| Former Guess |
Trendy retailer Guess has closed its store in the mall. The space was completely cleared out as of last week, and while there was no barricade up announcing what might replace it, the Lenox Square website lists Garage in the former Guess space. Garage is a Canadian fast-fashion brand, primarily targeted towards young women, with existing Atlanta area locations at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw, and Mall of Georgia in Buford.
Footwear retailer Cole Haan which previously downsized and later closed its store at Phipps Plaza, is now opening a new store on the second floor of Lenox Square.
Toronto-based Asian beauty and lifestyle retailer SUKOSHI MART (not this Sukoshi) is set to open their first location in Atlanta at Lenox Square in the coming months. The growing retailer will open in a roughly 2,300 square foot space on the mall's top floor. Given the changes in the mall's retail mix and typical shopper, this opening is especially puzzling.
Elsewhere in the mall, AllSaints has opened in the former Ted Baker after what appears to be only a light remodel, Randy's Donuts has opened in the front parking lot and Starbucks appears primed to reopen soon.

A store called "Candy Scoops," that you might have in years past expected to find in malls like Gwinnett Place or Northlake, has opened in the former AT&T store in the food court, hawking candy, toys, and other random merchandise.
When was the last time you visited Lenox Square? Was the food court escalator broken when you visited? Did you leave wondering why you'd given it a second chance... again?

Can you feel it? The slow winds of decline, at first barely noticeable, now gathering momentum. They usher in pop-up shops, makeshift signage, bargain-bin merchandise, and undertrained staff. Suddenly, a quarter of Lenox’s national brands have vanished, almost without warning. This isn’t NorthPark, Costa Mesa, or Aventura—and Lenox isn’t immune to the broader struggles facing malls across the country. Simon now faces a serious challenge in protecting what was once its crown jewel in the Southeast (South Florida excluded). The quality of the customer base has been deteriorating for years. And when your most consistent publicity comes from name-drops in rap lyrics, you know those winds are blowing harder than ever.
Buckhead might be the first ITP neighborhood to reverse gentrify lol. At least one out of every five people I see walking near Lenox is homeless, and none of the landscaping or sidewalks along Peachtree are maintained properly. Starting to look like Lindbergh.
Sell it to Kohan.

I haven't been to Lenox in years. Getting too urban what with the crime increasing in the area. The problem with Lenox is they need to stop the constant remodeling and go back to what it used to be-a classy place to shop and eat. Used to go there all the time when I lived nearby
Loved Lenox Square in its day! Have to gather my courage to visit the Apple Store. So sad.

I stop going to Lenox about 10 to 15 years ago. I felt unsafe and people asking me for money in the parking garage at Bloomingdale’s. It is SAD!

Having to pay to park within 50 yards of the mall is certainly no incentive to go in.
lots to process here, but also - Dolce & Gabbana isn't a sibling brand to Alexander McQueen. Alexander McQueen is owned by Kering, the parent company to Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and Saint Laurent. D&G is independent.
I think one way that could really help Lenox recapture its old glory would be by putting more diverse that appeal to the younger generation.. For instance what about a tattoo parlor? Or a hookah lounge? Or perhaps Dave and busters?
So you sit and count everyone walking by Lenox, and then you verify their residency status? Sounds like you need something to do.
Tear down the upper level and rip open the ceiling. Put the bowling alley back where the food court is and put a twin theater back there too. Tear down Neimans. Done!! That will be better.
Go to Mall of Georgia instead
Love Lenox and always will! My kids will be thrilled about the candy store and I’m happy Cole Haan is coming back amongst a few others!

I went in December and bought a bag from LV. Great customer service (not the same at Phipps - never has). Mall was relatively active for holidays. Went two months ago to Lush. Also wonderful customer service. Mall was relatively active for a random Thursday afternoon. Still a great shopping location IMO. Valet service has gone down however. Not enough valets or bad hours but, can never get my car in. Also been here since 2009 and never knew there was D&G so they may have been on them (location, location, location).
Meh, this isn’t that big of a deal to me given all of the recent articles regarding luxury retail beginning to decline because of high price increases. Also, the Ferrari store just looked cheesy, made me think of when Joey found someone’s lost Ferrari keys on Friends. I go to the mall a couple of times a month, other than it’s crowded, it’s not some war zone like these comments would have you believe…
And Piedmont at Lindbergh looks like Moreland Ave @ I20.
Please put the Goldmine arcade back in Lenox!
