[EXCLUSIVE] Mister O1 Bringing its Popular Pizza to Inman Park

With two Atlanta area locations open and an overall rating of 4.9 stars with more nearly 3,000 reviews, a third Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza is coming to intown Atlanta next spring!

Following its March debut in Sandy Springs and July debut in Buckhead, a lease has been signed for a new Mister O1 at Inman Square (299 North Highland Avenue) in Inman Park!

ToNeTo Atlanta hinted at the upcoming location in our earlier coverage, and we are pleased to now be able to confirm that the new Mister O1 will be opening at Inman Quarter, where it will replace Char, a Korean barbecue restaurant, which closed this past May after nine years in business.

The new Mister O1 will be just shy of 1,600 square feet, roughly half the size of the other two Atlanta units, but the owners reportedly plan to make better use of the existing patio to create a more year-round dining environment.

Sources close to the restaurant suggest the lease was finalized in recent days and that the hope is for Mister O1 to open this coming spring.

Metro Atlanta has proven to be a great market for the pizzeria, and more locations are reportedly being considered, including plans for at least one suburban unit.

Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza, the restaurant's official name, was included in Michelin's "Recommended" Miami restaurants list in 2022.

Chef Renato Viola opened his first pizza shop, then called "Visa O1," in Miami in 2014.  After credit card company Visa threatened a lawsuit, he adopted the "Mister O1" name instead.   "Chef Renato Viola came to settle in Miami Beach under the O1 visa category, reserved for those with 'Extraordinary Artistic Ability” or internationally acclaimed fame. Recognizing that his talent would be the foundation of a revolutionary pizza joint, he opened Mister O1 with the intention of creating something truly extraordinary."

The menu at Mister O1 is fairly simple, with 8 and 13 inch pizzas, calzones, burratas, and salads.  The pizzas feature an incredibly thin crust.  Pizza prices are about $15 - $20 for traditional and special (13 inch) pizzas.  The signature "star" pizzas are not only uniquely shaped but also include additional cheese tucked under the points of the star.  Mister O1 also offers incredibly fresh burrata available as an appetizer, with a salad, or atop a pizza.

Desserts include a Nutella Pizza, Nutella & Banana Calzone, and Vegan Hazelnut Chocolate Pizza, according to the restaurant's website. The restaurant also offers both gluten-free crust and vegan cheese options.

The Atlanta franchises are being opened by business partners Miguel Blatt, Brandon Weitz, and Daniel Scala.

Have you been to Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza?  If so, do you think it's "extraordinary?"   Who in Atlanta do you think offers the best pizza?

Please share your thoughts.

I have not been yet but looking forward to trying it.

Tried it recently thought it was tasty. But really nothing "OMG" worthy. I'd return, but no need to go out of my way. But clearly it having 4.9 stars with 3000 reviews does indicate otherwise!

Looked to see where the "Buckhead" location was. (Lenox Rd) Growing up, the area around Lenox was not considered "Buckhead". In fact, there as a sign in front of Hub Ford, around where Tower Place is now, that announced "entering Buckhead". Given the hell hole that exists, congestion/gridlock-wise around this area, I will not be patronizing Mister O1. Sorry......

Clogged up because cars fell into the hell hole and need towed out.

Kind of like Vinings when it was a desirable place to live before all the degenerates moved in. Some subdivisions have "Vinings" in their name all the way to Austell.

They should just tear it all down and put trailer park. Alex you can move over there and be their king

The address in the story is for Beetlecat. Char was further down on Highland.
