McDonald's has closed another Atlanta area restaurant. According to multiple sources in the area and confirmed by a restaurant employee, the McDonald's at 1291 Bells Ferry Road (near its intersection with Cobb Parkway) officially closed November 29 after more than 50 years in business.

Georgetown Cupcake has closed its shop in Atlanta. Located at 267 East Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead Village District, the cupcake shop quietly closed last week after nearly ten years in business. The shop displayed no signage announcing the closure but sources in the area indicate that Georgetown's owners opted not to renew their lease.
Taylor'd Bar-B-Q is closing after more than four years in business. The barbecue restaurant, located at 2759 E. Fresh off their Atlanta debut at Midtown Promenade in Midtown, Handel's Ice Cream has announced that two additional Atlanta area shops will open before the end of the year. A new shop in Cumming is slated to open in November, followed by an exciting new location in Buckhead in December.
